Players registered last season will begin receiving emails on or around September 1st to register for the 2010 season. Their login and password information will be in the email. Please complete your registration right away. Please note you must register this year before you will be allowed to tryout. This is a new requirement from USAV for the 2010 season. This does not commit you to any team or club, it just gets you into the system as required by USA Volleyball. Online Registration Instructions.

NKJV is excited to announce the return of long time NKJV coach Jim Delong.
Jim was previously with NKJV from 1995 to 2005. The last 4 years Jim has been the coach of the Team Z 13 Orange team in which he enjoyed success at the national level at qualifiers, JOVC nationals and the JVDA national tournament. Jim has also been the Head Coach at Oak Hills High School which is one of the premier public school programs in Cincinnati where he consistently coaches Oak Hills to one of the top ten teams in the city.
Jim will be returning to NKJV as the coordinator of our Developmental Program. Jim’s responsibilities will include working with traveling team coaches to focus on player development. Jim will work with teams on a weekly basis not only focusing on individual drill work, but also on team skills. He will also assist with our Lead Coach Program to help to foster the development of all of our traveling coaches. The Lead Coach program will help to mentor new coaches to NKJV, as well as, help veteran coaches master their coaching.
In addition to the Developmental Program position, Jim will be joining the NKJV Board. Jim Delong has assisted with the planning of the NKJV Aces Challenge for numerous years. His experience and knowledge will help the entire NKJV club, and we are excited about the new possibilities with his return to the club.

On Sunday, July 19th, NKJV held its Annual Scholarship Dinner, where the 2009 recipients were honored. Recipients include Karley Reid, Whitney Rolf, Amy Grout and Beth Pelgen. Karley Reid graduated from Holy Cross High School and will be attending Franklin College, where she will play volleyball. Whitney Rolf graduated from St. Henry District High School and will be attending the University of Kentucky. Amy Grout graduated from St. Henry District High School and will be attending the University of Kentucky. Beth Pelgen graduated from Highlands High School and will be attending Eastern Kentucky University.

In preparation for the 2010 club season, NKJV is launching a restructured website. In addition to an updated look, the new website will provide visitors with a user-friendly experience. It will include access to the latest news, coaches' and team information. When the site is launched, it will not initially include all the information regarding this season's trainings and schedules. Be sure to keep checking nkjv.net in the upcoming weeks, as news will continue to be added as the season draws near.
