KAEPA NKJV
CLUB HISTORY
- Northern Kentucky Junior Volleyball was founded in 1983 with
the purpose of providing a Junior Olympic Program to female athletes between
the ages of 14 and 18. The 12's program was added In 1993 a 12's Program was
added. Then in 1997 NKJV added 13's, 15's and 17's.
NKJV is the oldest, most established club in
the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky area.
- NKJV is a non-profit organization governed by a non-parent Coaching
Supervisor, and supported by an elected Board of Directors (which consists
of parents and non-parents). NKJV's formula of success combines the
best available players, coaches, and administrative support staff to offer a
first class program.
- As stated in NKJV's Mission Statement, "High school performance and
potential collegiate participation will be enhanced by the athlete's level
of commitment and dedication to the NKJV program."
- Since 1983, over 3000 athletes have participated in NKJV's program; our
success is best shown through the tremendous development of the following:
- High school Student Athlete's that participate
in the NKJV
program.
- More than 80 athletes from the NKJV organization have
gone on to play at the collegiate level, many with scholarships.
- NKJV coaches who direct the area's leading high school programs, and
who have played and coached at the collegiate level.
