Who is NKJV

Club History

Northern Kentucky Junior Volleyball was founded in 1983 with the purpose of providing a Junior Olympic Program to female athletes between the ages of 14 and 18. The 12s program was added in 1993, and then in 1997, NKJV added 13s, 15s and 17s. NKJV is the oldest, most established club in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.

NKJV is a non-profit organization governed by a Coaching Director & non-parent President and supported by an elected Board of Directors, which consists of parents and non-parents. NKJV's formula of success combines the best available players, coaches and administrative support staff to offer a first-class program.

NKJV's Mission Statement: The Northern Kentucky Junior Volleyball Program prepares area student athletes for collegiate level play through the Junior Olympic Program. We provide a consistent and outstanding program for development of young female athletes. The program emphasizes a balance of fundamentals, teamwork and enjoyment of the game. Our program also provides an opportunity for athletes to pursue a sports career by being observed and recruited to play at the college level.
